In my professional life, I’m passionate about learning and deeply understanding the needs that people have in their professional life, and addressing those needs with a suitable, intuitive software solution.

For a long time now, we’re really good at managing projects, monitoring progress, and following the plan, but the business outcomes have been pretty unpredictable, giving rise to the popularity of the “Fail fast” strategies.

No more. Now we’ve got much better at making a really good plan that we can rely on to fulfill the expectations. All before we make hard commitments.

My focus is on understanding both customers and the business, addressing their needs, and delivering value to users while creating value for the business.

Being a co-founder and a CTO in a tech startup, and being in that seat for 10+ years, I’ve collected so many mistakes, along with a few lessons, that can help the current founders in their daily struggles. I’ve been deeply involved with hiring, scaling the team, and managing the product and engineering, but also GTM and strategy.

About Me

Marko Linke

Ex SaaS product co-founder and CTO with special passion for building products, applied technology and tech leadership. Currently working on SaaS products in mobility, retail, and AI space.

Professional Experience

For the past few years, I’m helping on a couple of SaaS products in the roles of product manager, project lead, external consultant, and coach.

In 2008. I co-founded Repsly, a retail execution platform that combines transactional and analytical backend services, mobile applications, and complex integrations. Repsly is now considered a global leader in the ret-ex space, present in more than 80 countries and used by thousands of organizations worldwide. My focus was customer needs, product design, and management, and I served as a CTO and board member until 2018 when the company grew to over 60, and the engineering team to over 30 FTEs.

Since 2021, I serve in the roles of a leadership team advisor and a product manager or advisor in Mobility ONE, an operations optimization platform for managing vehicle fleets.

I help on a few other products, and my big involvement currently goes into product efforts to deliver an AI-driven customer relationship platform in the CPG space.

I am honored to have the opportunity to help in the Croatian startup community as a mentor in several incubators, and as a member of the board of the Croatian Independent Software Exporters Association (CISEx).
